- Light Guides for Front Panels - Straight. This family of light guides, from MENTOR, are designed for *** in front panels and with surface mounted (SMD) LEDs. Suitable LEDs include the SIDELED, TOPLED and CHIPLED families from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors. This range of light guides has a straight inject face which will sit in close proximity to the LED, at a 0° angle. The front panel light guides are made using a clear plastic material. Available in a variety of different dimensions, the light guides have a spherical, planar or Counterbore head shape. Suitable applications include; medical devices, security safety, communications equipment and industrial control..
