- The coupling shown represents the clamp style fixing. Stainless Steel Flexible Shaft Couplings. Designed to perform where higher speeds, greater misalignment, and limited lubrication would exceed the capabilities of other couplings. Each coupling is manufactured as one piece, thereby eliminating mechanical joints and possible failure points.Two fixing styles available:,Typical applications include encoders, stepper motors, robotics, measuring instruments, servo systems, pumps, valves, fans etc., (i) Set Screw style is secured using one grub-screw per shaft (staggered at 120°) , (ii) Clamp style fixing ***s one socket head cap screw per shaft. Constant velocity couplings with high torque capacity and zero backlash Torsionally rigid one-piece construction Not temperature sensitive High or low speed operation and reversible No lubrication required Up to 3° of axial misalignment allowable
