• Pluto Gateways For Network Connection. The gateways are devices for transfer of data in both directions between the Pluto bus and other fieldb***s. They are made in these versions; GATE-P1 for Profibus-DP ( ; 733-4836 733-4836 ), GATE-D1 for DeviceNet ( ; 733-4849 733-4849 ), GATE-C1 for CANopen ( ; 733-4830 733-4830 ), GATE-E1 for Ethernet using Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP (EIP) or PROFINET ( ; 733-4842 733-4842 ). A second usage for GATE-D1 and GATE-C1 is as a CAN-bridge (repeater) which transfers CAN telegrams between two CAN-b***s. This can be ***ful when long cables are needed. With CANbridge the usage is not limited to any special protocol such as the Pluto CAN bus system, but it can be ***d for most CAN bus systems.
