These HDE-20 IDC d-sub cable plug and socket connectors have a tin plated steel shell and a 94V-0 rated black thermoplastic insert and are pre-loaded with duplex plated phosphor bronze IDC contacts with gold on the mating *** and tin on the crimping ***. There are differing contact plating and wire size options for these HDE-20 IDC d-sub connectors, please refer to manufacturer datasheet for details. The maximum wire insulation thickness that these contacts accept is 0.38mm, and the maximum wire insulation diameter is 1.52mm.
