- Gaiters. Manufactured from durable synthetic rubber these gaiters are resistant to most oils, chemical and grease. They provide protection for universal joints from dirt ingress and contamination and **** maintain lubrication of plain bearing joints and increase service life. Installation is simple using two cable ties to secure a gaiter in place. Please Note TWO gaiters will be required to protect double universal joints.
