- Electromagnetic Knitted Wire Mesh Tape. From UVOX, a 2-ply knitted wire mesh suitable for the electromagnetic shielding and grounding of electrical and electronic cable assemblies and harnesses. As well as providing mechanical protection, the sleeving is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications and is resistant to oil and fire. Manufactured from 0.11mm diameter monel (Nickel-Copper alloy) wire A 50% overlap is recomm***ed, providing a good 4-layer shield
