These industrial type A USB plugs have a 40 N retention force to prevent accidental unplugging and an integrated locking mechanism for more reliable industrial applications. They are intermateable with existing USB type A receptacles. The housings of these Type A USB 2.0 plug are made from black high temperature UL94V-0 thermoplastic, with a nickel plated shield and gold plated brass contacts.
