• MS-156 Switch Receptacle. In today's wireless world, testing of RF devices requires a different approach. The MS-156 coaxial switch and test contact provides a simple and reliable method of inspection for high frequency circuits. With the contact mounted on the board, performance can be tested by inserting one of the external plugs, this switches the circuit to the test probe allowing accurate testing of the equipment. The MS-156 has a low insertion loss of 0.1dB at 6GHz making it almost transparent. Removal of the test probe will then automatically switch to the internal circuit. The contact is small, only 2.7mm by 2.7mm and 1.6mm high, weighing only 0.025g it can fit neatly into any design operating up to 6GHz. A variety of SMA test adaptors are available for hand testing in the laboratory or fully automatic testing on a production line.
