- Battery door and compartment version includes 4 battery clips (for 2 – AA batteries) and a 9 volt (PP3) battery clip. Hammond 1553 Series Handheld Enclosures. The Hammond Soft Sided enclosure is ergonomically designed for hand held comfort. These cases are available in either light grey (RAL 7035) or black (RAL 9011) and comes with or without a battery door and compartment. Features and Benefits.
