Now supplanted by Flash based variants these CMOS devices are still popular in legacy designs. For new applications PIC12F variants should be considered. These PIC12C67x microcontrollers are based upon Microchip s mid-range core that includes interrupt capability, a deep hardware stack and 12-bit wide instructions. These MCUs provide up to 2.5 MIPS, up to 3.5 Kbytes program memory and data memory of up to 128 bytes. On board is a RC oscillator with ±1% accuracy.
