• Hirose Electric FH28 Series 0.5 mm FPC/FFC Connector
• The FH28 0.5 mm ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) FPC/FFC connector is a rugged and durable design.　The FH28 FPC/FFC connector features a sturdy flip-lock actuator supported at both ***s of the connector by stiffening brackets.　The actuator is held back by hooks at each contact along its length, ensuring a secure connection and preventing the actuator from falling out.　When the actuator is fully closed, a clear feel and sound indicate that it is firmly locked in place.　The FH28 FPC/FFC connector has a side catch for tabbed FPC.　Insert the FPC slot positioning tab in this catch to accurately position the FPC.　When the actuator is secured, the tab acts as a strain relief and increases the FPC retention.　The FH28 FPC/FFC connector can also be ***d with a straight FPC (tabless FPC).　The bottom of the FPC/FFC connector is covered with resin and the contacts are not exposed, so the connector can be mounted on the board pattern.　This FH28 0.5 mm ZIF FPC/FFC connector supports standard 0.3 mm thick FPCs.　The FPC/FFC connectors on the FH28E and FH28 H have metal fittings protruding from the housing for manual soldering.　The FH28H FPC/FFC connector has a narrower space-saving actuator.
