- What tools can I *** to cut this plastic sheet? The choice of tool ***d to cut this plastic dep***s on the thickness of the sheet being cut. Thin sheets of plastic can be cut using a sharp utility knife. Thick sheets can be cut using various types of saws, such as fine-bladed handsaws, bow saws, electric table saws, band saws, round saws, and jigsaws.
