• Module substrate capable of charging lithium polymer (LiPo) battery and monitoring remaining amount
• The LiPo charger consists of a battery charger and battery monitor for safe and widespread operation. It is equipped with BQ24075 battery charger and BQ27441-G1A remaining gauge, a pair of LiPo management ICs from TI. This charger can charge up to 1.5 A but can be changed to USB compliant 100 mA and 500 mA. It has power path management to guarantee power to your project even if the battery runs out. The I2C-based BQ27441 G1A measures battery voltage to estimate charge and remaining capacity. It is also connected to a current detection resistor, so it can measure current and power.
