- 0.5A Step-Down Switching Regulator TSR 0.5 Series. The Tracopower TSR 0.5 series of step-down switching regulators are drop-in replacement for inefficient LM78 linear regulators. These DC-DC converters have a high efficiency up to 97%, which allows full load operation up to +80°C (+90°C with 50% load) ambient temperature without the need of any heat-sink or forced cooling. The TSR 0.5 switching regulators provide other significant features over linear regulators, i.e. better output accuracy (±3 %), lower standby current and no requirement of external capacitors. The high efficiency and low standby power consumption makes these regulators an ideal solution for many battery powered applications. Features and Benefits Compact SIP package.
