  • Wavelength-indep***ent phase difference can be provided throughout the visible range.
  • It can be ***d for optical systems that change the polarization direction of white light sources and for spectroscopic measurements using polarized light.
  • There are two types: a 1/2 wavelength plate that can rotate the polarization direction and a 1/4 wavelength plate that can convert linearly polarized light into circularly polarized light.
  • Since the incident plane and the reflecting plane are machined with a high degree of parallelism, the beam declination angle can be reduced.
  • The specified phase difference is obtained when linearly polarized light is incident on the square side of the incident plane at an azimuth angle of 45 degrees.
  • The light emitted from the 1/2 wave plate is linearly polarized with an azimuth angle of - 45 degrees, and the 1/4 wave plate is circularly polarized.
  • * 1/4 wavelength type has optical axis translation. (Refer to Optical axis translation in the table of specifications.) Use the Fresnel Rom wave plate fixed horizontally or vertically and rotating the polarization direction of the incident beam.
  • * Fingerprints or oil stains on the polished side of the Fresnel Rom Wavelength Plate will prevent the specified phase difference performance from being obtained.
  • * Be careful not to touch anything on the side. (FRH stored in the holder is also available.) * * The specified phase difference performance cannot be obtained when the incident angle changes.
  • * The Fresnel Rom wave plate has a small wavelength dep***ence, so it can be ***d outside the visible range, but outside the visible range, the effect of the anti-reflection coat becomes ineffective and the transmittance decreases.
  • * When linearly polarized light is incident on the square side of the incident plane at an azimuth angle of 0 degrees or 90 degrees, the light is emitted as linearly polarized light without changing the polarization state. (Same as 1/2 wave plate and 1/4 wave plate)
