Features
- This half mirror can be ***d in a wide wavelength range from visible to infrared.
- Since it is a plate type, it does not become heavy like a cube even if the effective diameter is increased.
- It can also be ***d as a half mirror to match an illumination system such as a coaxial epi-illumination observation system with an observation optical system.
- The wavelength characteristics are flat over a wide wavelength range, and the transmitted and reflected light can be divided into the same ratio even if the wavelength changes.
- We have a lineup for visible and infrared light (semiconductor laser).
- Since it is a plate type and has an anti-reflection coat on the back, it does not ca*** ghosting (stray light) due to illumination in epi-illumination.
- There are two types: a parallel plane type, in which the beam does not refract, and a wedge type, in which ghosts and interference due to backside reflections are less affected.
- The wedge type has an arrow pointing toward the surface at the thickest point.
- * The chromium film absorbs about 40% of the light, and the transmitted or reflected light is 30% of the incident light amount.
- * Reflectance and reflectance wavelength characteristics are greatly affected by the absorption film when light is introduced from the back side.
- * When linearly polarized light such as laser light is ***d, the reflectivity and transmittance vary dep***ing on the polarization direction.
- * When adjusting the branching ratio to 1:1, tilt the polarization azimuth to 45 degrees or *** circularly polarized light.
- * The phase difference of the incident light is not stored in transmitted light or reflected light.
- * Use a wave plate to compensate for the phase difference.
- * Due to the effect of the refractive index and thickness of the substrate, the optical path of the transmitted light is translated by several millimeters relative to the incident light.
