- To achieve the given maximum performance rating of this power resistor, it is designed to be directly mounted on an appropriately matched heatsink and mounted using a thermal compound. 50W Aluminium ho***d wirewound power resistor, HS Series. From Arcol, the HS50 series of aluminium ho***d resistors are high power and offer a balance of pulse power capability and volume. These panel mount resistors are manufactured in line with IEC 115 and MIL 18546. These panel mount resistors are designed for direct heatsink mounting with thermal compound, which ensures maximum performance. Features and Benefits:.
