The connector housings are made from a rugged glass-filled thermoplastic which is impact resistant and able to withstand high temperatures of up to 220°C. The terminals on the plug have a flat design and are polarised to ensure an accurate connection when mated with the female socket The housings of these miniature thermocouple connectors are colour coded in accordance with the formerly recognised BS (British Standard) with the thermocouple type clearly indicated on the front for easy identification. What is a Thermocouple Connector?. Thermocouple connectors are an accurate and convenient way of interconnecting your temperature sensing components. Using these connectors allows a chain to be formed from the measuring tip of your temperature sensor to the host computer or meter.
