• Hirose TM21P Series Cat 5e RJ45 Shielded Modular Plugs. TM21P series Cat 5e modular RJ45 shielded plugs that conform to the requirements of the TIA/EIA-568B data wiring standard meeting the transmission performance of Enhance Cat5. These RJ45 plugs support Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) and Fast Ethernet (100BASE-TX) high-speed LAN transmission. A 360° metal shield provides EMI protection to the engagement area of these RJ45 connectors. When the plug is mated, the corresponding connector shield surfaces are connected to provide a continuous circuit. The connector is supplied with a single piece cover which snaps together and can be fitted after the plug has been assembled onto the cable. This cover also ext***s over release tab of the connector and protects it from breakage. TM21P series Cat 5e RJ45 plug connectors can be terminated to solid or stranded cable and feature a guide plate to assist with assembly. All models are highly reliable and excellent quality.
