- Phoenix Contact CRIMPFOX 6 Ferrule Hand Crimp Tool ; Die. CRIMPFOX 6 ferrule hand crimp tool for crimping ferrules according to DIN 46228-1 and DIN 46228-4. This CRIMPFOX 6 ferrule crimp tool can crimp a cable cross section range of 0.25 to 2.5mm ;sup>2 ;/sup> (AWG 10 to 24) and has 5 marked cable locations on the die, a side entry, a ratchet locking mechanism to ensure a secure crimp and ergonomic handles. A replacement CRIMPFOX 6 die (stock number ; 803-4408 803-4408 ) is also available. A trapezoidal crimp is produced with this CRIMPFOX 6 ferrule hand crimp tool.
