• Light Guides for Front Panels - Diagonal IP68. This family of light guides, from MENTOR, have been developed from the original 1282 and 1293 light guides. They are a waterproof version with an IP68 rating, tested by MENTOR. A waterproof design is achieved through their unique shape and a precise mounting hole. MENTOR ‘s straight light guides are designed for *** in front panels and with surface mounted (SMD) LEDs. Suitable LEDs include the TOPLED and CHIPLED families from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors. This range of light guides has a diagonal inject face which will sit in close proximity to the LED, at a 45° angle. The front panel light guides are made using a clear plastic material. Available in a variety of different dimensions, the light guides have a spherical, planar or Counterbore head shape. Suitable applications include; medical devices, security safety, communications equipment and industrial control.
