- This manual service disconnect (MSD) from Amphenol is ***d for charging plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) and is equipped with a high voltage interlocking loop (HVIL). This plug has a two-step lever to open the HVIL circuit before separating the high-voltage contacts.
