- Mini MSD Plug (with HVIL)
- This Mini MSD (Manual Service Disconnect) from Amphenol is for charging plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) and is equipped with a high voltage interlocking loop (HVIL). This plug has a two-step lever to open the HVIL circuit before separating the high-voltage contacts. The MSD allows the internal high-voltage battery pack to be shut off without the need for special tools, while also protecting the battery from short circuits.
