- TEMT6200 Series Ambient Light Sensors. Features of the TEMT6200 ambient light sensors: 0805 footprint Dimensions: 2 x 1.25 x 0.85 mm High photo sensitivity Supression filter for near IR radiation Angle of half intensity: 60°. The TEMT6200 series, from Vishay Semiconductors, are a family of ambient light sensors. The consist of a NPN epitaxial planar phototransistor within a transparent package. The TEMT6200 has a surface mount (SMD) package with a standard 0805 footprint. This device is designed to be sensitive to visible light, similar to the human eye. Suitable applications for the TEMT6200 include; automotive sensors and display backlight control for mobile phones, ****books, tablets, cameras and dashboards.
