Features
- A mirror in which aluminum is deposited on a plane substrate that has been polished with high precision.
- High reflectivity can be obtained at all incident angles.
- There are two types: one is coated with aluminum film only (TFAN/TFAQN) and the other is coated with aluminum film for protection to prevent scratching (TFA/TFAQ).
- Can be ***d as a mirror for visible or near-infrared light.
- Low expansion, high rigidity and high surface accuracy mirrors (TFAQ/TFAQN) using synthetic quartz substrates are also available.
- Pyrex (R) is a registered trademark of Corning Corporation.
- * Aluminum mirrors without a protective film (TFAN/TFAQN) are prone to scratches and oxidation of the film occurs.
- * Never rub the mirror surface with paper or cloth.
- * When storing for a long time, *** a deoxidizer to prevent oxidation of aluminum.
- * When multiple mirrors are ***d to propagate light, large amounts of light are lost due to absorption of the aluminum film.
- * Use a dielectric multilayer mirror (TFM, etc.).
- * The reflectance of the specification is expressed as the average value of the reflectance of P-polarized light and S-polarized light.
